This started out to be a quick project but took a lot longer than anticipated mostly due to my not having thought it through before starting. The photos on cotton turned out to be glossy and not matte which was my choice. I stuffed the image "pillow" which in hindsight was not the best idea because it caused the thing to pucker. To hide the edges, I crocheted an inner frame of red cotton which itself sticks out irregularly. Red heart-shaped buttons hold the photos in place in the middle and around the edges. Hopefully it will be gratefully received by Sammy's grandmother.
